Journey Galaxis+2
My obscure RPG Maker RPG is updating soon! o,o
Journey Galaxis release was around 4 years ago, however each year new updates are added to expand the games side adventures as the story itself is 100% complete, and playable to the end. I aim to improve as much as possible with each update and include useful new changes, and adjustments which won't break the game.
Addition world map location names and world map details:
The world map will look so much better than in the current version as all of the locations on the world map will have their name shown above the entry point. New locations will also appear based on your point in the story, or progress.
Menu 1.4
The main menu screen will have a nice new look with the classic feel of the usual RPG Maker menu. I've made adjustments to my variation by applying slim HP and MP bars, removing the "Class" which has no affect on the game or character, and applying the cover art background for Journey Galaxis+2!
New Window background.
I have many windows set to transparent in the game which was not a great decision at all. I took to using photoshop to have another attempt at creating a Window. The 20th time is the charm as the new window is quite cosy! The new theme is centred around the Ocean with a clear Glass display. It's really quite nice, and I am glad I could find the right result for a background window which could suit the games style.
Item Menu: The Items menu status window has been updated so that it looks more presentable when using items on a character in the next update to 1.4.
Disable AI Art
I made a poor decision when AI art making tools became available. I used AI to help with creating elements for battle backgrounds. AI is not used anywhere else in Journey Galaxis, and that includes in the writing of the story. In the next update there will be a feature to disable AI art, and I promise you won't even notice! I will be replacing those elements with newly made human elements.
Journey Galaxis started like 12-13 years ago and it's still hidden somewhere in the Netherworld. I hope that future players can help to push Journey Galaxis out of obscurity so that more people can enjoy this cozy, and well made RPG. There's no adult content, it's a clean game, however, the story is an unimagimable journey that will take you on an unforgettable adventure.

I am proud to see such a journey unfold. I've had a brilliant time with this game ever since you made it free on Itch, and poured lots of time into it. The story is both cozy and unique experience, and I could totally see what you were trying to go for with it. Thank you Xanda for this wonderful project.
p.s: Do I have to just download this new updated version of the game to receive the updated contents as a standalone game? Or do I have to go and put specific files in myself?
I'm very humbled by your honest feedback of your experience playing Journey Galaxis. I will add an announcement when the update has been released and also send e-mails to everyone that has a download key to give a nod that Journey Galaxis is still here, and welcomes them back for more adventures! The updated game will need to be downloaded, and you can move your Saves from the old folder to the new game folder to continue where you left off. :)
