I have also awarded all new players Recover which recovers 300 Crystal HP and this card uses 1AP instead of 2! I did this to help players who may find the battles difficult. If you switch this card out it cannot be returned and is in all 3 of the Decks. (Players can customise 3 Decks to have different builds) I hope you love this gift!

Crystal Duel is 1 years old and has grown up a fair bit over the last year with a lot of hard work and dedication! I never expected to get this far making a CCG and let alone learn enough programming to make many of the features. Crystal Duel is yours to play and I hope we can enjoy this really sweet CCG together. 

Crystal Duel is a CCG RPG / Visual Novel / Card Collection hybrid. Become a Crystal Duelist who has entered in to a CCG competition. Meet duelists, make amazing plays and build your reputation to get the top! Be nice, or be a complete pain to the competitors although it could mean you're expelled so be careful how you act! *coming soon*

The background idea I originally wanted was to make something like Pokemon TCG, although I shifted the game to a more unique path for this type of CCG. It's like a mix of Yu-Gi-Oh and Strategy based RPG where the Units you bring in to battle have their own types of strengths and weaknesses as well as abilities. The balance is super tight and so one unit is not overpowered or underpowered, they are all unique and able to create a great impact in strategy, choice and actions.

In Crystal Duel is you'll need to meet certain conditions to move on and unlock new Duelists to compete against to advance through your adventure. Once you make it to the end of the Stage you'll be faced with a Stage license test. Pass the test and you'll advance to Stage 2 where you'll meet newer and tougher opponents. You may choose to get to know the duelists and this may affect the path you take among other things.  

The AI is aware of your progress and If you play very well then the Duelists will notice this and improve even more than they usually would, or you may be recognised for outstanding statistics and this will have an effect overall and possibly open up new story paths! Your journey evolves based on your actions and how you play for a deep role playing experience with many well thought possibilities.

Deck and Building a Deck..

Crystal Duel allows 6 Card options and you may use multiples of the same card. These cards are then given at random during the game. This kind of game-play means you'll need to pick a combination that will work very well together to attack and support. Duel cards features abilities where they can heal the players crystal, add additional points, causing different types of damage and so on! Learning about the cards is key to making a successful Deck that can withstand the opponents many strategies. Some cards will have the chance ability to add cards which are not a part of your deck such as healing or damage dealing spell cards. These extra options make for some seriously awesome chance based game-play just like many RPG games out there.

Card Store

The Card Store has been revamped and now you may view the cards and choose to buy them and they will update in to your collection.  Learn about the cards first before choosing to buy them. New cards will also appear when the Player has gained enough Duel Chips, which are awards for completing Duels which are earned whether the result is a Win or a Loss. Duel Chips can also be purchased using coins which are earned just for making actions during games too!

There really is a great game here and although I hoped to make something back from the project, I hope that anyone who will choose to play can support the work. Much of the work is hand processed and the coding is mostly built manually myself. It's been an incredible challenge.

I've played many games where I have been stunned by the way the AI makes choices and how games can shift and turn at any moment. It's incredible at times! Each duel may last 5-7 minutes and during that time it's an amazing battle of strategy, random chance and luck!
